I was born in Bradford Co.in 1930 in Towanda, my father was from Ulster, and my mother(Keating)from Towanda.My Grandfather Winslow Keating was the Towanda Postmaster from 1915-1923.I hade relitives in,Barclay,(Lynch)Wysox,(Hayes McCarthy) Highland,(John Scott)Ulster,(Harry,Michael,Paul,James,Scott)Ridgebury(Hayes,McMahon)to name a few. Corbetts also stil live in Towanda.The book "Our Boys in Blue" tells of Harry Scott's five sons who all fought in the war between the states, and all survived. Including Henry, who spent a year in the notorious Andersonville prison. Also my Greatgrandfather Thomas Scott, wrote one of the stories "A DANCING AFFAIR" about when he was 16yrs old in the Army that is quite Funny. If anyone knows any information on any of the famlies noted, please contact me!

I found my family David Ross b. 1769, Scotland. m. Pheobe
Hamilton. He died in Bradford Co. Pa. His son William Ross
is our connection. William son of David is my husbands gggrandfather
Thanks to Ross surname list I made my connection.
William m.Amanda Pratt 1840, they had one son David Veloy Ross
I know of b. 1842 Pa. They moved to Brown Co. Ohio. William d.
Clermont Co. Oh. Burial Williamsburg Cemetary.
I amm looking for information on this family.
