My Grandfather died in 1951, in the run down Race Street Hotel and was pennyless. The City could not find next to kin. His DC reads buried in Potter's field, Front and Luzerne Streets. The New Catheral Cemetery is near this cross road, but has no record of a Potter's field. Any help on where the city buried the homeless or how I can find additional infro?

There is a Philadelphia County, PA mailing list named PHILLY-ROOTS-L hosted by RootsWeb. It does not appear on the Phila. pages. It would be a good idea to list it on the Philadelphia County, PA page. If there is something else I should be doing, please advise. I am the list owner.
