I would like any information you have on the Pettis and/or Messer families. I believe Tom Pettis was born in Alabama in 1913 and I know that he died in Lake Placid, Highlands County, Florida in 1984. Tom's wife, Minnie Lee Messer Pettis was also born in Alabama and died in Lake Placid. They had two children, Buster Pettis and Bobby Joe Pettis both still live in Lake Placid. I am married to Bobby.
