Searching for information on ancestors name Pafume--spelling was changed from Pafumi after 1908, when my grandparents were married in Providence. I checked marriage license yesterday by phone. I am trying to learn more about them coming to this country, and I am also trying to see copies of their obits, which may confirm names of their parents, as shown on marriage certificates. I am also using the Ellis Island web site. Look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
