Looking for info on my gg-grandfather, Clamor Henry Spellman.
He came to this country with his parents, Henry and Margaret
Spellman, in 1835 thru the port of Baltimore. Settled in Sciotio
county Ohio. His father died here. The family moved to Clayton
county Iowa and then to Lancaster county,Nebraska settling in
Centerville precinct. His mother,Margaret was the first person
buried in the Centerville Cemetary. I think there might have
been more family members that came with them to America,perhaps
some siblings. Would like to find out and find where they came
from in Germany, I know that it was the Kingdom of Hannover but
do not know what town or any names of family further back or
his mother's maiden name. Does any one know this family?
