Would like to know what your connection to Shedrick Jones
would be. He was my 3rd G-Grandfather,he married Nancy Jane HICKMAN.He was born in 1823 and died Aug 1882.There is a report floating around that he went to California during the gold rush era, where he became quite wealthy.It is also reported that he was stoned to death in Butte,Co.Ca.If this is one and the same please let me knowas I have his family background up to present.Also if you have anything else on him or have anything going back from him I would really like to have a copy of whatever you may have.
