Searching the surname Stokes has been a remarkable insight to my past history.
One thing i have learned, is that we people named Stokes travel well, and most times on our own.
Though i am from the North East of England, My Father is from Limerick City, and served in the Royal Air force.
He then Married my Mother, and had four sons, and one Daughter.
I am probably the one with the Stokes travel bug in my system, and at present live in the Philippines where my life is very good.
My past relatives all seem to have headed for the States on very dodgy boats, but survided the journey.
Now if you are a Stokes, and are reading this, you are very tall people (like me, and my Grandfather from Limerick)Handsome, or very good looking females, as are all the Stokes generation.
Big wide eyes, the type that make you look again.
Great sense of humor, peace loving person, though look out when you are angry.
What more can i say about the Stokes (Levis)
O.K. then, Peace always, need to learn all the time, respectfull to everyone, Must be clean whatever the occasion, house proud, Do not get on the wrong side of me or i will bite hard?
