Noticed "Daisy" that you come from the same Sweet line as I do. My great great grandfather was Samuel Sweet m. Lucinda "synda" Jones, he was the son of Robert Sweet b. in Fentress Co., Tn. I have not gotten any further than Robert and as far as I can see, niether have you. Do you think he is the line from the "Bonesetters"? I'd like to get a few more generations back for my father, who is now in his 70's. Hope you can help and along with any others from this line researching.

I have recently traced my husband's grandfather, Edward Sweet, to Laurel Co. Ky. sometime between 1844 & 1864. I got the info from the muster records from the Civil War Records of the 111 ILLinois INFantry. We had thought he was born in Il., but according to these records he came from Laurel Co.Ky. He also lived in AR. after the civil war & died in Ok.
