I was really looking for information about a school in Erhard, Ottertail Co. Minn. My dad went to school their at West School District No. 17. I was trying to find out the year he went there. I have a card that a teacher gave him at the end of the year with his name and the names of all the other students as well. Maybe you can advise as how to do that. Would have been in about 1910. Thanks. Emily

I got a message yesterday that someone had responded to a query I made about Park Thompson, possibly of the Choctaw nation in Indian Territory. How do I access that message?

I am having trouble figuring out how to get to all of the information available and use it in my search. I really don't understand what is the purpose of this sight. I need to know how to search for my ggggrandfather Drury Thompson who was probably born in Mecklenburg or Halifax County, Virginia in 1801. He moved to Roane County, Tennessee where his son William Henry THOMPSON was born. Henry was living in Christian County, KY when my ggrandmother Nancy Elizabeth THOMPSON was born in 1859 and then moved to Cedar County, Missouri where she was married in 1878 and where my grandmother Mary Arva JAMES was born in 1880. Drury THOMPSON died in 1872 in Cedar County, Missouri and is burried there. Nancy Elizabeth THOMPSON JAMES died in 1907 and is buried in Haskell County, Oklahoma as is Mary Arva JAMES WATSON who died in 1953. That is all the information I have. All of those fact are documented. I need to know where to find William Henry THOMPSON's birthplace and where he is buried and where Drury was born in Virginia. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Mary Sunshine BAXTER ZIMMER.
