I am researching a Christian Thoreson who settled in Fremont Township, Winona County, Minnesota in the 1850s. I would appreciate any information that is available on this man. The last name was sometimes spelled Tompson or Thompson. I believe this man's son, Thorvald Thoreson, was considered the first white child born in Fremont Township and that the birth year was 1846
