Gibson co,TN has the best site I've visited--been checking on my greatgrandfather JONES MCFARLEN from there b1840/1850. Anyway, I do enjoy your site and visit it nearly every week. Keep up good work. CW

I have new info about my ancestors: My Greatgrandfather and mother. Robert Luther EDMISTON and Allie COOPER, lived in Quito, Shelby County, Tennessee, had at least two children: Charles Wesley EDMISTON born 1899 in Quito, Edgar EDMISTON?

I was born and raised in Jackson Tennessee, does anyone remember me? My Grandmother was buried in one of the cemeteries around Gibson or Gibson County, her maiden name was Rosa Ellen PARKS, she was married to my Granddaddy Thomas H. MORGAN so her gravemarker would most likely be Rosa Ellen Morgan. My Granddaddy Morgan was buried in Hollywood cemetery in Jackson Tennessee. My Granddaddy Edgar EDMISTON is buried somewhere in Jackson and also my Grandmother Annie Mae (ALLICE) EDMISTON is buried somewhere in Jackson, thats sad. There is lots of info at the Jackson Madison County library but I live in Arizona and its a long way off if any one would get some info for me it would be greatly appreciated.

Nevill Family Research, Nicholas Thomas b1824, John A. b1854 Charlie Lee b sept, 26,1880 Medina,Tn, Roots web has made is possible to do research work from home and the help with it is great. Better than any I have done in the Libraty alone, I still use the library, but now I know where to go.

I came in here to the Gibson Co. RootsWeb and i enjoyed looking at everything you have. I came in here to find addresses of places in Gibson Co. Because i was born In Trenton, Tennessee and was given up for adoption and I was hoping for any information you might have. I was born on 4-26-1968 and was adopted through Tennessee Department of Welfare and I weighed 9lbs and 6 ozs. was 21 inches long. If you know of my birth family please e-mail me or if anyone has any information that might help me please feel free to e-mail me anytime. I only live 60 miles or so from Tremton and I do want to know my birth family, I do love them for giving me life and if not for them I would not know the joys of my two children and the joys of my two step children and my wife. I want them to know that i do love them and would love for them to be in my life . If anyone has or knows anything , Please let me know. Thank you for your time,
Sincerely Billy (Andy) Anthony Mccord

This is beyond words. As my Jones roots start in TN. in 1804 I am thrilled as to all I have found. I have put in a Cemetery We walked and look forward to contributing more. Have refound a cousin who I had lost. She is an excellent contributer. At 70 I won't see all that the future will bring to the internet, but I expect it will be beyond our expectations of today. Keep up the good work. Bob Jones in Florida
