I would like to write a biography of Joseph Walker who came
to the area in 1836 and lived till his death in 1845 but his
family continued on there till 1950 and one still lives in
Ripley. There are lots of names and dates and life but it
would be much longer than those I see here and also I cannot
find space to submit it. Is there another way to submit?
Is there a limit to amount of information to send? I am a
widow of one of the descendants but I have gathered family
information and though I can't be familiar with locations as
someone who lived there, I have visited and know of the site.Later family of Dr. Joseph, farmer, minister and physician were Dr. John Wesley Walker, Dr. Charles Bickley
Walker and Dr. Charles Emmitt Walker. A half brother to Dr.
John Wesley was Dr. Thomas Jefferson Walker who wrote his
memories of Civil War Service and then lived and practiced
in the area. Ruth Walker
