I'm a 10th generation Tobey descendant from Thomas Tobey of Sandwich, twice! Going backward one way, through my great-grandmother, would be (me), Carolyn Shirley Smith, Martha Mae Tobey, Mary Isabelle Tobey, Samuel (twin), Levi, Zaccheus, Elnathan, Zaccheus, Samuel, Thomas) and the second, through my great-grandfather, would be me, Carolyn Shirley Smith, Martha Mae Tobey, Wellington Seneca "Bill" Tobey, Warren Madison, Seneca, Levi, Zaccheus, Elnathan, Zaccheus, Samuel, Thomas). I'd be interested in hearing from any cousins out there, of whom there appears to be no lack.

Stephen Henry Tobey was my Grandfather.He passed away in Southern CA in 1932. His youngest daughter was my Mother

I'm related to the Tobey line through Mehitable Tobey (b. 5 Aug 1714/1738) who married Ephraim Haskell (b. 9 Feb 1711/12) both from Rochester MA.
Their daughter, Joanna (b. 12 May 1713/40) married Samuel Wing Jr (b. 24 Oct 1738) in Rochester.
Their daughter, Marth Wing (b. 15 Apr 1761) married Philemon Duzette (b 1755/60) from Ellington CT.
Their son, Philemon (b. 11 Mar 1782) married Elizabeth Jane King (b 17 Sep 1782) from Enfield CT.
Their daughter, Mariah (b. 25 Jul 1814) married Elisha Edwards (b. 13 Dec 1806) and they lived in Mantua Ohio.
Their son James Peas Edwards (b.12 Oct 1838) married Catherine Elizabeth Petty (b. 26 May 1844). after they moved from Nauvoo IL to Utah.
Their daughter, LaVern Edwards is my grandmother.
She married John Thomas Olsen, my grandfather.
My father, their son, is named Verdus Olsen.
He married Georgia Briggs, my mother.
I'm Verda Olsen who married James Craig McFarlane.

We are also descendants of Thomas Tobey. My Father, Morley C. Tobey Sr., would have loved to look at your site, though he was not computer literate. Unfortunately, my father died last December. He spent 40 years researching our family history and was so proud that he and all 5 of his grandchildren were members of the Society of the Descendants of the Mayflower! Hopefully, you will hear from my brother, who is Morley Tobey, Jr. If anyone carries forward my father's work, it will have to be him. congratulations on your website and all the obviously hard work you have done.
