I've never been able to locate Wright Nance's parents. He was born 11/21/1828 in TN. He married Catherine Doty, dau of Harvey Doty and Sally Coram in 1849 in Wright county, Mo.. His known siblings are Josiah, b. abt. 1825; Minerva Elizabeth, b. 11/17/1833, and Sarah, b. about 1836. Wright and Catherine had 11 children and migrated from MO>AR>TX, with some of the family settling in AR, but most ended up in TX. The last trace of Wright was on 1880 Collin County, TX census. The last trace of Catherine was in Johnson County census 1900, living with her nephew. Wright's son's drifted down to Burnet and Coryell Counties. My grandfather, John C. Nance was married to Mollie Spencer in 1890. I think Wright may have died in Burnet County. Does anyone know what newspapers are in the library for the 1880-1900 period. Or where would be agood place to start. Thank You. Ed Nance

I AM LOOKING FOR MY MOTHERS PEOPLE. MY GRANDMOTHER DIED WHEN MY MOM WAS 5 IS THE WAY I UNDERSTAND. HER NAME WAS LEANDER MOUSER PENNY, SHE MARRIED ALEXANDER WASHINGTON PENNY
SHE IS BURIED IN THE PLEASANT VALLY CEMENTARY IN MARBLE FALLS, TEXAS WITH OUT A HEAD STONE. I AM SEARCHING FOR HER RECORDS AND HER FAMIALY THE MOUSER'S I WOULD APPERICATE ANY HELP THANK YOU JOYCE EDWARDS MCGARY
