Some years back there was a group of photos that showed schools in the surrounding areas that are no longer there. I would love to know who put them on and then removed them. The Duncan School located near Sharp Tx is of particular interest as family members went to that school. I would love to have a picture of the school house

I am looking for information on my grandfathers and a great grand father. Willie Hillin, J. B. Criddle, who had a story done on him in the Rockedale Reporter just prior to his death, he was allmost 100, and Willie Sweaks. Anything that you have would be most helpful. My mother was Willie M. Hillin, daughter of James Willis, grandauther of J. B. Criddle. My aunt and uncle were Miles Edward {Ed McCoy and Opal Hillin McCoy. Thank you for any information that you can give me.

I found a mistake in what I sent earlier. My mother was the daughter of James Willie Hillin. She was named after her father because she was supposed to be a son. Little did my grandfather know, but he had daughters, and his son was the youngest and a twin. Thank you again. This site is wonderful.

Yes, I like it and hope I can find some of my ancestors who lived and died there.
I know there is a lot of history in Milam County, because I started to school
there in 1933. Some of my ancestors were; Joseph Early Little, who was a Baptist
Minister , and was buried in the Bryant Station Cemerety, and his wife. Salina Dodson,
daughter of Edmund Dodson and Rebecca Fuller, both of whom died in Cleburne County, AL.
Their son, William Marion Little was also a Minister, but he died in Fordice, AR.
His son, Thomas Early Little, was my grandfather. Calvin Little
