I am the great granddaughter of David Franklin Huddleston. My father was Floyd Franklin Ayers, born June 27, 1887/88 in Sunset, Texas. His mother was Louisanna Huddleston Ayers, born in Alb and died and buried in Pushmataha, Okla.
Her father was David Franklin Huddleston and her mother was Lucinda M. Reynolds Huddleston, both buried in Smyrna Cemetery. I have found David Franklin Huddleston, along with several children and grandchildren, but can't find Lucinda Reynolds Huddleston, his wife. Maybe one of the crumbled headstones belonged to her. Thanks so much for your help, I hadn't found the Civil War connection, but there it was on the headstone. Thanks, again.

I joined RootsWeb in April 2000. I havn't had much time to work at geneaology since I joined but what I have seen so far is fabulous. I started my research over 20 years ago and the information that is available now on your web site is tops. Too bad you had to sell out.
