Yes, there are a lot of things I like about the rootsweb, I found my birthmother Joan Joanna Bertha Pennell, and my father Beunie C. Gann who was my birthfather. THey were married Aug 21, 1961. My dad honored me by marring my mom, eventhough the marriage was short lived. My Grandfather was Ruff Pennell, and my Grandmother was Amney (Emily)Belle Baker on my mom's side. My Grandfather was Aubry Gann and my grandmother was Mamie Martha Gammon on my dad's side. I was adopted in 1966 and I was born in Clintwood VA. in my grandparents old homeplace(Ruff&Amney Pennell)Dec. 16,1961. I was adopted by William & Ilma Gibson of Mineral VA. and they loved my mom Joanna. They were very glad when she decided to put me and my brother W.G. us for adoption, I know it was very hard for my mom, but she was a good mom to do that, as the time was a difficult time for being so young. I have enjoied meeting some very nice people from bother biological side of the family and my adopted side of my family. Very Nice adventure. Sandi Gibosn Fino gann/pennell
