My wife Debbie and I have just bought a house and 6 acres with a 2 acre lake on it. We would love to be able to find a local site that would tell us the history of place that we have just bought because the present owner tells us that it is at least 80 years old. No evidence of the original dwelling exists, and as I am much interested in history and in possesion of a metal detector, I would love to know where the original homestead stood on this particular piece of property. The address is #30 Shadowlake on CR2487. If Anyone has access or the means to sending that information to me,why, I would sure appreciate it. My wife and I would have a ball and if we should happen to find anything with my metal detector, we would be most happy to share it with the local historical society.
