I have worked in Isle of Wight County for many years and found the TYNES house very interesting. I was able to look over the inside of the house during a time when it was up for sale. The walls are very thick.

I am heading to Scotland on May 2, 2003. I am hoping to see some of my Tynes family history there. I understand that the River Tyne at Dunbar which empties into the North Sea is not the same River Tyne in England that divides Scotland from England.
