I am very interested in my Virginia forebearers from Westmoreland County. My father was William Tayloe Griffith; his parents were David 'ap Hungerford Griffith and Rosa Fielding Tayloe. Their home was "Twiford" c. 1711 Oak Grove, Westmoreland County, VA.

I am particularly interested in learning about graves other than the ones in the Leedstown Hungerford-Griffith Cemetary. I am serching for the graves of Camillus Griffith, my first ancestor to move to Westmoreland. The archivist of Christ Church, Alexandria, Va, Julie Randle, and I have an interest in locating this grave.

transported to Va. @1717 and there made a home.

I'M LOOKIN FOR INFORMATION ON JOHN FLOYD PAYNE HE MARRIED ELIZABETH CROCKETT. JOHN WAS BORN 1878 AND ELIZABETH WAS BORN 1889. THEY WAS FROM WESTMORELAND CO. MONTROSS, VA. LATER MOVED TO WASHINGTON, DC. I'M TRYING TO FIUND OUT WHO WAS JOHN'S PARENTS. ELIZABETH PARENTS WAS DAVID AND MALINDA CROCKETT ALSO FROM MONTROSS, VA. ANY INFORMATION WILL BE HELPFUL.
