Waters, Purcell, Keveren (spelling difficult to read from Marriage cert.)Cavanagh,Dodds, Ritchie, Lamont, Mckean. Originating from Ireland and Scotland.I am the 4th Generation form the earlier names. My G-grandfather on my fathers side originated from Kilkenny Ireland as did his wife, Watters surname a "t" was dropped by my G-grandfathers family the first born being a girl the two 'T'S were retained, the last Born a girl also the Tao "T'S" were also retained if any responses from this my mothers side will be posted

I have just started my genealogy and so far have traced my family back to London Thomas Waters b.1752. I believe ( not yet confirmed) that a number of his children also went to America. I really enjoyed reading your Web Pages and I will continue to do so.

Glad you are keeping the Waters line going. I'm new to this, but I have found my relatives through two other similar lines, Whiteside and Grissom. Hopefully, I'll have the same luck through the Water's line.
