Frankly, I don't like what I see - I just spent about an hour trying to find some on-line census records for AR and MS. I have used information from Rootsweb sites in the past and now with your "improved" bunch of junk I can never find what I want. Every listing makes me go elsewhere - I don't want "boards" - I want information.

At the age of 14, I was intrigured with my geneology, not only the lineage, but the history of the people themselves. So, for 35 years I have worked on it, "the hard way", with very little to go on in the beginning. I now have binders and boxes full of information that will be so helpful to so many I hope. I finally broke down and got a computer and joined cyberspace, so it will take some time to organize the infomation. Rootsweb is exactly what I need to continue the search. I am glad you are here, and look forward to inputing as well as receiving alot of valuable information. Thank you.

I can't seem to find many Watkins. My group is even harder to find. I think we are the only ones in Samantha, Tuscaloosa Co., Ala. James M., James Walter and John Deurelle Watkins must have come down by UFO. Carole Watkins Ashbrook
