I am connected with several Rootsweb list and have met many
of my long lost "Cousins" through this web site. Now I would
like to try and help someone else.
A few weeks ago a young lady driving a motor home stopped at
a fast food place in Floyd, Virginia. She had driven across
the US from Washington State to Virginia in search of her
"Weddle Family" She had her mother with her. I was able to
direct her to an area in the county where many Weddles were
buried. I also gave here the names of several individuals
who should have been able to shed some light on her family.
I have since learned that one of my friends (who had married
into the Weddle family) had a brother-in law (Weddle) living
in Washington State. In her rush to get back on the road
I did not get her name or address (E or snail); but did learn
that she was or had been a subscriber to the Weddle list.
In a long shot to try and make contact with her I thought that
maybe someone may know this family or perhaps that lady may
check back with the Weddle list, I have the name and address
of someone who could provide some data. Maybe someone who is
a subscriber to the Weddle list could post this request for me.
Good Hunting to all, and keep up the good work.
