My G.G. Grandmother was Eleanor Nicholson , born May 1823 daughter of Goddard Nicholson and Esther(Nuthall) Nicholson of East Dereham. Goddard's Parents were Rose (Wigg) and John Nicholson. Eleanor came to Moreton Bay, Australia in 1849 on board the S.S. Fortitude settling first in Ipswich then later moving to Warwick where she died in January 1854. Eleanor married G.W. Maskell in Ispwich Otober 1849, they had two children Esther Ann ( my G Grandmother ) and Charles Alfred Maskell.
