I am trying to find the builder of the Nichols Chapel at Conference Point. The camp appears to have very few records of most of the buildings on their 21 acres of land at the point. Can you direct me to some sources where this information might be found ? Over the past 4 years I have been involved in writing some of the history of Conference Point Camp / center. Thank You

I'd like to see a "real" surname list. If you have a surname like Hurlbut/Hurlburt/Hulburt/Hulbert/etc./etc., these search engines can be a nightmare. You wonder if you forgot one of 31 spellings, or not.

So Far So good...I was hoping to have an area for general
questions...in particular my g.g. grandmother and husband were teachers and she lost an eye apparently during some kind of epidemic and I was interested in finding out more about it (1850's I think) and specifically involved the eyes. Sounds a little farfetched.
