hi i am looking for my grandmother's family.my grandmother was theda june smith. she was from twin branch, mcdowell co. w.v. her mother was clarence rose hugh. and her father
was william smith. i was told he was a coalminer and in an
explosion, and he survived and moved to washington co. va
for treatment.appreciate any info. thanks april

McDowell County, WV - looking for the grave of John Kenna Pendleton - think around the Panther area. Did the McDowell genealogy society work on a cemetery book or a genealogy book that would have cemetery information. Know my family lived at Panther at one time - working in Timber. Was there when the flood came to McDowell County.
