Hello Everyone!!!!
You have to obey an entire Bible not just a piece from the Bible!
Here is what you really need to know:

Psalms 1:2 - But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Psalms 119:105 - NUN. Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Joshua 1:8 - This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Acts Chapter 2 Verse 3 says:
And tongues spreading out like a fire appeared to them and came to rest on each one of them.

And also in Acts Chapter 2 Verse 17 says:
“‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.

I am praying for you so God will reveal his Word to you through Holy Spirit!!
May God Bless you and everything you do!

Sincerely,

Andrei Isayeu

Surnames are you researching in Stafford County? Gallahan, Gollehorn, Gollehon, Gollyhorn, and similar spellings
How did you find this site? Google
Comments:
I am descended from Robert Gollehon (1780-1843) who first appears in Washington Co., TN records as a land owner in the late 1790s, just after Tennessee was formed from North Carolina (1796)married (Rachel?) Ann Tilson and moved to Washington Co., VA near the present day Chilhowie where he raised his 8 children. In the 1880 census his three living children reported that their father was born in Virginia. It appears that at that time (1780) the only persons of similar last name spelling were in Stafford County, VA. Although the name is now spelled Gollehon, it was written in earlier records as Gollehorn, or similar "horn" spellings. My family has searched since the mid 1940s for the ancestors of Robert Gollehon with no success but I believe the answer may be in Stafford County.
Robert possibly migrated from Virginia at a young age to North Carolina and then moved west in that state to the area that became Washington Co., TN in 1796. From there to VA.
I'm looking for anyone who has done extensive research on the pre-1800 Gallahan, Gollyhorn, Gollahan, etc., families that may provide a clue as to the parents of Robert Gollehon.
I need to mention that there was a George Gollahon in Washington Co., VA about the same time as Robert was in Washington Co., TN & VA. George married Hannah Hopkins in Washington Co., VA then moved to Claiborne Co., TN where he had one child then Hannah may have died and George remarried and had several more children. During the time George moves to Lee Co., VA where his descendants still live. Their family tradition says that they had relatives in the area where Robert raised his family, in Smyth County, VA (formed in 1832 from Washington and Wythe Co., VA.
I hope this gives enough clues to find more information about Robert and George's ancestors may have been. Please email me if you are or have researched this family in Stafford Co., or nearby areas.
Thanks!
Ken

What would you like to see added to this site? A correction on a marriage
How did you find this site? searching internet
Comments:
I have the CD on Theresa Fisher's Stafford marriages. I don't know if it was an error on her part or the minister, but the following information on both sets of parents names are wrong:

SPICER, J.W. s/o W.H.& Virginia Spicer age 24 S farmer POB Culpeper Co POR Fauquier Co & DICKERSON, Norah; d/o Malred(sic) & Sarah Dickerson age 20 S POB Spotsylvania Co POR Stafford Co; POM Stafford 10 Aug 1898 minister D.J.Shopoff STMR

The correction should read:
SPICER, J.W. s/o Malred(sic) & Sarah Spicer age 24 S farmer POB Culpeper Co POR Fauquier Co & DICKERSON, Norah; d/o W.H.& Virginia Dickerson age 20 S POB Spotsylvania Co POR Stafford Co; POM Stafford 10 Aug 1898 minister D.J.Shopoff STMR
I am sure the minister is what the problem was, because he [sic] the name Mallory and spelt it Malred.

Mallory Howard Spicer & Sarah Jane Smith Spicer were the parents of James W. Spicer. James W. was born October 18, 1875, in Culpeper Co. and married in Stafford Co. to Nora E. Dickerson born 2/22/1879.

I hope you don't mind my corrections. I have the family Bible as well as all the info. Thanks for your help

June

Jost (Joseph) Cuntze (Coons) listed on the original 1714 Fort Germanna roster was my 12 GG Father. He moved to the Stafford County Germanna settlement with the rest of the original Ft.Germanna group where he died 1731.

His son Johanas Cuntz apparently returned to The Empire of Europe in 1725 and returned to America in 1731. He Married Catherine Stover in 1738 and had land regestered first in Orange County, near Winchester. Much of this early history cannot be found in present day records. Hi, my name is Anita McClung and I live in Fayette County, WV. I am trying to help my mother and her friends with their 50th class reunion and I am looking for obits for class members that have passed. One of the classmates was Henry Sprouse who passed away in Stafford on Oct. 8, 1992. Would it be possible for someone to do a look up and send me a copy of the obit, please? It does not have to be the original, you can send me a type written copy to atnvolsgirl@wmconnect.com. If that is not possible, could you please tell me where to write for a copy?

Your help is most appreciated.

Anita McClung

Hello,
First off, I would like to say thank you for this site. I have been using it for about a year now and I love what you have done to it. I also love the new changes that acured resently. My ansesters are the Dickerson's and the Anderson's from the Aquia, Widewater and Stafford area of Virginia. My Great Great Grandfather is Louis ( Lewis) Joseph Dickerson. My family has been working on the family tree for many many years and it has been only in the past 5 years that my husband and I have been able to find any thing at all on the family. Louis' parents meet and married in Stafford and raised their family there as well as there desendants did. so if possible could you add more on the Aquia, widewater area of Stafford. I still have family that lives there, but I now live in Fort Smith, Arkansas and we are limited on what we have on Stafford Virginia here. out side of this this is the best site on the web and I really love it, thank you so very much and please keep up the great work.

Thank you again Lorri Rhodes
