I am trying to confirm that Wm's son Henry's daughter Hannah Neale Talbot was married to a Thompson Halley/Holley in Bourbon Co., KY in 1798 and that they had a first child, son, named William Halley/Holley born 19 Jan 1799 who later married Mary Eades in 1829 in Nicolas Co. Wm and Mary moved to Henry Co. where they lived until their deaths in 1870 & 1871. Thompson's parents are unknown. I have a theory on that, but am trying to get prove before going public. Comments:	Just a bit of trivia, when visiting Tarboro to get more family info, I found my family collection was larger than any local historian or family, maybe because when my G-grandmother, Mary Irwin Briders left Tarboro in the early 20th century she took a large collection and it was well preserved, including such things as letters, pictures and even Confederate war bonds signed by H.T. Clark (father of Laura Placidia Clark who was married to John L. Bidgers Jr). A few years back a small coffin was discovered in the Bridgers family plot and it was unidentified, due to my family collection I was able to help identify Charles, John Sr. son. It seems he had no marker and time had earsed memory of him. Even the local Sr. historian and family had seemed to not know about him and they are all very well versed in Bridgers Family Hist. Your site is the only other evidence I have ever seen of his existence, so I just was curious where you got the information about young Charles birth and early death? Thanks for any insite :)

Comments:	Wonder what you thought of the gravestones photos (John Holder and Amanda Elizabeth Mercer) and other info I sent earlier regarding John Holder (Sr) and Amanda Elizabeth Mercer Holder (Her name disagrees with many web sites and Pulaski County History Book notation which may be refer to her as Murphy instead of Mercer) According to family records John A. Holder Sr married Amanda Elizabeth Mercer plus probate records in Hawkinsville show that Amanda Holder petitioned the court after John's death (1890 record book) for funds to support her and 7 children including John Holder (Jr). John and Amanda's (Mercer listed on gravestone) graves stones in Hawkinsville are side by side in the Holder plot. The way I put it together, Julia Holder, sister of John Holder Sr. married Rolin (Rowland)Mercer who had a daughter Amanda Mercer. Very soon after the marriage Rolin (Rowland) died. Julie went to live with her brother along with Mercer stepchildren (not her children). Thus, Amanda appears in John Holder's household just prior to their marriage per census records. That is how I put it together anyway.

(1930?). Rosa was my father's mother. William Green was not my father,s father. They lived next door to Albert and Fannie Meadows who had five daughters. Albert and Fannie was my uncle and aunt. My father and I moved to Louisville Ky in 1943. I was taken from my father in 1945 by the athorities and placed in the Louisville and Jefferson county children's home until I was releaced in 1952. Comments:	Good afternoon. You are probably aware of this but I wanted to mention it. My Great Grandmother Mattie Derrisaw Walker was Edward Hendricks Walker's first wife. He was our Great Grandfather. Great Grandmother Mattie died as a young mother from TB and child birth complications. Their daughter, one of twins, was my Grandmother, Bessie Faye Walker. She and her twin sister, Susie Walker, who later married Alonso Perry, were raised by their older sister, Mamie Walker who later married Paul Toon. Grandma Bessie married Lotzie Henry Goad - they are my grandparents - and they had 2 children, my mother, Bettie Sue Goad, along with her brother/my uncle, Arthur Yahola Goad. Grandma Bessie died at the early age of 21 of TB. My mother and uncle are still alive and my Grandfather Lotzie died in 1995 at the age of 81. He truly respected the Creek Indian community as he wasn't Native American and made sure we stayed connected to our Creek Indian family until his death. We try to attend the family gatherings on Memorial Day in Stidham at the family cemetery where both my Great Grandmother Mattie and Grandmother Bessie are buried, along with our Great Grandfather Edward and other family members.
