Hi, Curt,
I'm doing some family history research as a surprise Christmas gift for some neighbors. Just when I thought I was closing in on all I could find before my deadline, I found James Lowder Willis and Lucy Crowder North -- which is great, but I have one source that says she died in So'on, Horqin Youyiqianqi, Nei Mongol (Inner Mongolia), China, in 1849, which I found when I googled his name...and your pages, which say she died in Coweta County. Could you help me? The family I'm doing this for is from Newnan, by the way, but I can't ask them any questions, since I'm trying to keep it a secret!
Thanks so much,
Rick Gill

Hi, I am the daughter of Joe Abner Clark. You have the death date wrong for Joe A. Clark. He died in 1988. I think the 1939 may be when my parents got married. I am working on this as I do not have that information at hand as both are dead.

Thank you

Came across some history I can use for our family on your site during a random search, but couldn't see where it fit into your research. Starts at Johnathon Miner b. 1783 and leads to Flora Mae Miner, my mother in law. I have more info if you'd like it. But.. was really curious how it fit into your other families. let me know what you think, thanks. Tony

The information re: Thomas J. Moorman ad Andrew Swain Moorman has some errors. Andrew Swain b. Feb 28, 1844 married Naomi Louise Moore, born in 1848, but she was born in Iowa, not Campbell County. They were married following his discharge in 1866 from Company"H", 7th Iowa Infantry, where he suffered a wound to the head. Andrew Swain had a nephew of the same name, son of William Thomas Moorman.
Contact me if you like, and I'll try to help you make the corrections. You've done such a lot of work, I'm sure you want the information to be correct.

Greetings! I'm a gg-granddaughter of Anderson Marion Waldrip and Mary Ann Martin Waldrip, through their daughter Sophronia Elizabeth Waldrip Pierce White.

I was researching A.M. Waldrip and happened upon your pages. They seem pretty complete and well-sourced. I'm interested in finding photos of his family. Would be glad to share whatever info I have that you might need.

A note, just in passing: Sophronia did not die in Arizona. She died in Brownwood, Brown County, Texas, 13 Dec 1961. I know this because my mother (Phronie's granddaughter) has a copy of her death certificate.

Thank you so much for the website and information. A lot of the Moormans in the USA are descendants of Zachariah Moorman who came to Virginia in the 1600s. My ancestors stayed in Chale, Isle of Wight, now a part of Hampshire, until about 1809 when William Moorman moved to Canada and the family eventually came to Michigan where my grandfather, George Loren Moorman Sr., was born in 1882.

Last year I visited Chale and found the grave of John Moorman 1676-1745, my "5-great" (I think) grandfather. Many of the Moorman family still live in Hampshire, and I met with Harold Moorman in Southampton and have communicated with Derek Moorman of Southampton who has done a lot of genealogical research.

Thanks again.
