Great site. I found it looking for information on the Slack family--the only information I previously had for Agatha was her name and year of birth. If the descendants of Agatha Sacher and Charles Slack monitor this information I'd love to hear from them.

I too am researching Murrays of Dublin. My ancestor Paul Brennan from Leighlinbridge married Mary Murray, daughter of Peter Murray in 1864 in Dublin at St Nicholas-without Church. His occupation was wire worker. Address given was Little Ship Street for Mary. I am currently researching the company Ross & Murray for a family link.

I have not found any other researching Murray and would like to compare notes with you.

Great job with the site, it was so hopeful, I couldn't believe it. I am the great granddaughter of Charles Sacher Shutt, and due to his adoption, no one ever knew of his biological family except for my grandmother's Uncle Tom and Aunt Emma Dodd. Thank you so much, my grandmother will appreciate your help. If you want, I can give you more information on Charles Shutt's family afterwards, like his wife and children. Let me know if you want anything, hopefully we can keep in touch.
Thanks again, Jessica Mills

Hi, I enjoyed browsing your site very much. Do you have any info on any Dodd's in Searcy, Arkansas? I am looking for info on my great grandmother "california "callie" Dodd, born in Searcy Ark, Nov 11,1849. She married James Mitchell Brundidge 21 Feb 1867. I have been unsuccessful in finding her family. I did find a census for an E.Dodd (female HOH) and one of the children listed was a female C.Dodd. But,have not been able to find any verifiable info on California or Callie. Can you help?
thanks

I have found a marriage for one of my forbears on your site and thank you for posting it! Apparently my ancestor married his wife at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Salem, PA. Would you be kind enough to tell me in which county Salem is located? My people were in Dauphin (present-day Lebanon) county. Is this Salem by any chance in York Co?
Again, thank you for all your help

Charlotte, of Edge, married the Rev. Joseph Yates Cookson, son the late Lieut-General Cookson, and on his marriage, took by Royal Licence, the surname Dod. Charlotte died in 1867, and was survived by a sister, Frances Rosamond.

Do you happen to know anything about Lt-General Cookson If it is the same Cookson, then it would be Charles Norris Cookson [1756-1830]. I have his British Army record (Royal Artillery) with appointment dates. However I know nothing of his career. I presume he served in a lot of places over the period 1772 to 1825. He is not a relative of mine but I have a miniature portrait painted on ivory of him.
Thank you for any help you can give. Kind regards
Merv Cobcroft (Queensland, Australia)
