When I frist started looking at my Mom's family history I did not think of a grandmother I never knew. Now I have looked at census and city directories. Birth and death records. I have not had a connection to grandmoms side at all till I found and Uncle age 2 passed away and from a wedding banns I knew that G Grandmother was Annie Carroll. In the death of Henry she was buried in a Carroll graave. My first link. In doing the list on roots. I posted to A list and had a reponse. Finding a distant cousin. Met and had lunch last week.
